My faith is being tested today

<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">Those of you who follow me know that I have not really gotten too personal in the year that I have been blogging. You know that I am blessed beyond measure to have 3 beautiful children, you know that I am married to a wonderful husband that I love dearly and that I live in the country in the middle of nowhere surrounded by natures beauty, my dogs, cats and donkeys.</span><br /><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">But today is different. I am setting aside the holiday decor and holiday projects for something far more inspirational. Today my faith is being tested as I let you into my heart, share my soul and hopefully as I share a letter with you, a lesson as well. My friend Laura of Finding Home created <a href="http://thegreatestgiftproject.com/">The Greatest Gift Project</a> which gives me another platform to be able to share my heart with you today. My inspiring nature walk through the Great Smoky Mountains

We have always made the Great Smokey Mountain National Park a yearly event and a nature hike part of the tradition. <div style="text-align: center;">All week I have been reflecting on my life and the many wonderful blessings that fill it. I chuckle as I think about how different the things I am thankful for today would not have been the things I was thankful for before I had my kids. As my childern move fast and furious through toddler years, I also realize I am not the same person I was before them and for that I am thankful.</div><div style="text-align: center;">I am thankful for the enormous amount of love and patience that God has gifted to me.</div><div style="text-align: center;">I am thankful that I can walk around with my hair in a pony tail with no makeup on and not worry about how I look to others.
