The other day I shared the story about this space. You know, the one that started out as a mistake and turned into an opportunity? If you missed that, you can read about that here.
As my idea grew in my mind on how to use this space, so did the stone that surrounded it. 
A nook that was first created using unused space under some stairs that looked like this
and inspired by the champagne that we toasted to when my husband first proposed

Our wine bottles, spirits and special stemware sit on top of built in wood shelves that were painted a creamy white color, and like a fine wine distressed to look aged.

Although it's not really a cellar , it's more like a Wine nook.
And not exactly the Wine Cellar you would see somewhere in the  South of France, but more like a Wine nook you would see South of the state of Carolina. 
I love these kind of opportunities, the one's that will last a lifetime! Don't you?
